Union & Fifth: Shopping That Gives Back

What's better than finding designer items at great prices?  How about when the profit of those items are given to charity?  I recently discovered Union & Fifth, (thanks to one of my favorite fashion blogger, Hallie Swanson) a non-profit online consignment store that sells designer goods and gives 75% of the profits to charity.  It all started with sister-in-laws Pam Trefler and Christina Reinhard who cleaned out their own closets, consigned their clothes, and ended up raising $40,000.  Giving that money to charity had them feeling great, and that's when they came up with the idea of Union & Fifth.  With many different charities to choose from, you can easily donate your designer clothes and pick which charity you want to support.  Or, if you're looking for that perfect designer item, shopping at Union & Fifth will make you feel good knowing you're helping that charity.
