As much as I hate to admit it, tomorrow is my birthday, and I'm turning thirty-five!  I've always been excited about my birthday approaching, but to be honest, this year I have been dreading it.  As each year went by, I've embraced my age and welcomed it with open hands.  I didn't mind turning thirty, I was actually excited about it, and thirty-four was a breeze.  I've been happier the older I've gotten, and so far, my best days have been in my thirties.  However, I'm having a hard time accepting the number thirty-five.  It means I am officially in my mid-thirties, and I'm officially an adult.  (You would think that having two kids made me feel that way, right?)  I wasn't going to admit my age, but as I sat down and thought more about turning thirty-five, the more I realized how happy I am, and decided to celebrate my age instead of obsess over it.  Although I had a lot fun in my twenties, I feel I'm at a better place in my life since entering my thirties.  I am more confident, I know what I want in life, I feel stronger, and I'm the happiest with my body than I have ever been, and yes, that's after having twins.  But what makes me the most happy is my amazing husband, my two children that I'm over the moon about, and my career that I absolutely love.  Although, I have so many career goals that I want to achieve, I am lucky that I'm on the right path, and get to do what I love everyday.  With that, I want to thank you, my readers, because it's your support that makes my career dreams possible.

I've had this Theory shift dress for a long time, and decided to wear it for this shoot because it's old, like me, ha!  But really, I love how timeless this dress is, and how it can look great when paired with heels, like I did here, or with a tennis shoes for an easy weekend look.  Plus, we all know I've been obsessed with the color white lately.  I paired it with a pink coat for a perfect spring look, and added fun polka dot sunglasses, and a chain necklace to finish the look.  Not only is this a fun spring birthday outfit, but thought it would make a great Easter outfit too, since the holiday is this Sunday

To celebrate my birthday, I am headed up to Killinton, VT for the weekend.  We will be doing a little spring skiing, and celebrating Passover and Easter with the family.  There is a lot to celebrate this weekend, and I'm ready and excited for it!  Make are to follow along on instagram @ thomasrachael and on Snapchat (username: Rach480).
