Last weekend, some of my girlfriends and I headed to Boston for a girls night out, or better called a mom's night out, as we all have babies that were born within two months of each other! We headed to the Seaport District which is one of my favorite spots in Boston. I actually love the area so much, it's where Mike and I decided to get married (and yesterday we celebrated our three year wedding anniversary). Since having the twins, Mike and I don't get out on the weekends too often, so when given the chance, I usually like to wear a dress, as they have just been sitting in my closet for the last two years. However, this past month I've been leaning more towards casual clothes when hitting the town. I decided to wear black jeans, and love this pair by J Brand. They are the Maria, which is a high rise, and I find them to be very comfortable. I was initially going to pair them with a silk top that has a cut out back, but changed my mind last minute and put on this basic white tank instead. I've been all about comfort lately, and didn't want to fuss with a special bra as I would have if I wore the silk top. I love how a simple tank can be sexy with jeans, and by adding this silk blazer and these lace up heels, it dressed up my tank and jeans for drinks in the city.

We had such a fun night out! We ended up at Empire which has a great atmosphere, and although I've been there a handful of times, I always try something new each time I go. This time it was the calamari, which was so good, I highly recommend ordering it if you're ever there!
