Happy Friday! This week flew by, and I'm glad because I have a fun weekend planned. Tonight we are headed to "A Sips in the Park" fundraiser at Fenway Park benefiting the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP). Not only will it be a fun night out for Mike and I, but we are supporting a cause that is close to my heart, which makes it even better! You can read why the AFSP is important to me HERE. Then Sunday is Mother's Day, and I'm beyond excited to be celebrating it for the first time as a mother. To top it all off, the weather has been GORGEOUS here in Boston, which means I have broken out the dresses and sandals. I recently bought this shirt dress and am obsessed. I have been wanting one for a while, and finally found the perfect one by Cloth and Stone. The dress did come with a belt, but I decided to wear my own belt instead, breaking up the dress with the camel color, which also tied in my shoes. I've owned these heeled gladiators for several seasons, and am happy that I didn't get rid of them when cleaning out my closet. Although, they are no longer available, I found a couple of very similar pairs and linked them below. I loved how the dress looked with the gladiator heel for a slightly dressier look, but plan on wearing a flat sandal with this dress for an everyday look, as I'm sure it will be on major repeat in my closet this summer.
Dress: Cloth and Stone (found at Marshalls but similar here and here)// Shoes: Nine West (similar here, here)// Hat: Target// Bracelets: Vita Fede, Love From Venus// Rings: Baublebar// Necklace: Sarah Chloe// Sunnies: Chloé
By the way, I found this dress at Marshalls for under $50! I'm not a big Marshalls or TJ Maxx shopper, as I prefer to shop at boutiques and small stores. However, Marshalls recently opened up near my house, right next to the grocery store and Starbucks I frequent, so I couldn't help stopping in the other day. I'm so glad I did because I found this dress! They also had a good selection of Cloth and Stone denim tanks, which I just may have to go back for!
Wishing everyone a great weekend. Thank you for reading!
