Black Culottes

I did it!  I finally jump aboard the culotte train, and I have to say, I enjoyed the ride.  It was only a couple months ago that I was certain that I would never wear a pair of culottes, and here I am not only wearing them, but loving them!  It's the sophistication that culottes exude that I have grown to love, as they come off as a cross between a pant and midi skirt.  Although the pair I chose feel more like a sweat pant with the elastic waistband, when paired with a silk top and heels, I felt ready for an important meeting and to tackle to day.  I will definitely be adding more culottes to my closet.

I hope everyone had a great weekend.  Mike and I finally got new furniture for the deck, and I am so excited to be able to sit outside.  My favorite is enjoying a glass of wine on the deck while sun is setting!  Also, Mason started walking this weekend!  Well, I shouldn't say he is actually walking, but he is taking about five steps before he falls down.  Where are my babies going???
