Linen Joggers

Happy Hump day everyone!  I can't believe it's Wednesday already, but when you take Monday off, I guess the week goes by extra fast.  As most of you know Mike, the boys, and I were at the lake this weekend for a mini vacation.  Although I did bring along my laptop, and had planned on doing a little blogging, I never ended opening it up.  Instead, I spent the whole time enjoying my family, the sun, and the beautiful views.  I apologize for missing Monday's post, but the time away from my computer was much needed.

This was the outfit I wore the first night at the lake.  I'm a big fan of jogger pants, an although they have a casual look, I love dressing them up.  These cargo pants are by Theory, and look like a jogger pant with their elastic waistband and tie bottoms, plus they are extremely comfortable.  I've actually owned these pants for a while, but don't wear them often do to the fact that they are linen, and wrinkle very easily.  Being the neat freak that I am, even when it comes my clothes (yes, I steam my tee shirts), you can imagine that linen is my worst enemy.  However, I've come to the conclusion that linen is supposed to look wrinkled, so these pants have been making an appearance more and more.  I paired them with my favorite faded black tank and heels for a dressed up, yet easy look.  To be honest, I actually wore my heels just for the photos, and wore these sandals the rest of the night, because who actually wear heels at a lake house?   However, if I were in the city, I would have worn my heels all night!
