Mahi Gold Dress

Preppy and bold prints have never really been my thing.... until I met a dress that made me love them.

Recently, I was introduced to the brand, Mahi Gold, through the Ceci Palm Beach Pop Up Shop and it has quickly become one of my favorites.  Although I initially thought the brand was a little to preppy for my taste, because of their beach and nautical inspired prints, I've discovered that I love a bold print when the dress is a perfect fit.  This dress is the perfect example.  It's fitted without being too fitted,  its short without being too short, and the scoop back is sexy without being too sexy.  In other words, this dress is cut perfectly, which makes the nautical print less intimidating for someone who is usually found drenched in shades of black and grey.  

For a cute daytime look, I paired the dress with  my gladiator sandals, and added my hat since the sun was out in full force. I love how I can easily slip on a pair of heels and be ready to head out to dinner with Mike. Which also makes this the perfect dress to take on vacation.  If only Mike and I were gong away......
