Insta-Life Lately

Happy Monday everyone!  Although, my Monday could be better because as I am writing this post I am sick (which is also why this post is coming to you later than normal).  I woke up Sunday morning with a sore throat and body aches.  The good news is that I didn't get sick until Sunday morning so it didn't ruin my time in Killington, Vermont this past weekend.  The bad news is that I had planned on taking a few outfit pictures on Sunday while still in Vermont, since the backdrop is gorgeous there this time of year.  However, since I had the chills Sunday morning, taking photos in 30 degree weather didn't seem like the best idea.  So unfortunately, I don't have a new outfit to share today, but instead decided to share some of my life lately as taken through Instagram.

Before I got sick, this weekend was a lot of fun. Although we woke up to snow on Saturday morning, I didn't mind it since we were in the mountains (if it snowed in Boston already, I would have cried!).  We took a gondola ride up to the Peak Lodge at the resort on Saturday, and the kids had a blast running around at the top of the mountain.  The views were absolutely gorgeous.  You had snow topped trees mixed with shades of reds and yellows.  It was also fun, because we got to see a couple get engaged up at the lodge!   After we left the mountain, we ended up at our favorite restaurant, Sushi Yoshi for cocktail hour and snacks, then went back to my mom's house for the rest of the evening.  I hope everyone had a great weekend!
