Thank goodness for over sized sunglasses and a little blush. All I can say, is you don't want to know what I look like without them. I have been so sick for the past 6 days and couldn't even get out of bed on one of them, which is why there wasn't a post this past Friday, that I apologize for. I'm not normally one who gets sick often, but I've already been sick three times in the past two months, so this winter is not off to a good start. I'm thinking it's time to go get checked out... and a flu shot. The weird thing is, I've been eating healthier (mostly clean) and working out more than I ever have in the past, and isn't that supposed to help my immune system? Anyway, I mustered up some energy yesterday to get dressed and shoot a couple of photos. If you're going to wear something other than sweatpants when you're sick, then a chunky, cable knit, turtleneck sweater is it. I love the longer hemline on this sweater, which also makes it a perfect option for pairing with leggings. I wore it here with my favorite black J Brand Maria jeans, and love the taupe and black combo. I finished my outfit with my snake flats for a perfect weekend look.

Although I have several outfits planned for the blog this week, I only had the energy to shoot this one this past weekend. Because my husband is my photographer, and he doesn't get home from work until after it's dark, I'm not sure that they'll make it to the blog this week. But don't worry, I won't leave you empty handed. I have gift guides coming your way, so make sure to check back. Have a great Monday and thank you for stopping by.

I hope you're feeling better soon! It's so annoying when you get sick even though you've been making healthy choices. The outfit is so cute and comfy.

Sorry you've been sick!! I hope you're back to feeling better and don't pick anything else up this year! If I work out too much, it actually runs me down a bit and has the opposite effect of keeping my immune system strong! But, despite not feeling well, you look fabulous!

I am sorry you have been sick again. You don't look it at all. Your sweater and bag look so nice and well-made, great finds from F21 and I adore the snakeskin flats. I am always a huge fan of black and taupe or tan, especially in the Winter.
ReplyDeleteLove the flats! You look great!
