Happy Monday! Is everyone as excited as I am that Christmas is just four days away? Now that the twins are at an age where they get somewhat excited about special occasions, I can't wait to see their reactions on Christmas morning. Although I don't want them thinking Christmas is all about presents, now that they actually know what a present is, it will be fun to see their little faces light up after Santa comes. Today I'm sharing with you the outfits we will be wearing on Christmas day, and happy to be teaming up with five other amazing women to share our mommy and me holiday styles.
In our family, we like to dress on the casual side for the holidays, as comfort is a crucial factor with all the food and treats we consume! However, it's important to me to still look put together, which makes a sweater dress a perfect option. I found this dress at Bloomingdale's and love that it has the faux shirt underneath. All I have to do is throw on my boots, and I'm ready to head out the door. I completed my look with a statement necklace for my ideal put together, yet comfortable, Christmas outfit. I also love how dressing the twins in nice sweaters can elevate their look, and these coordinating ones from the GAP are perfect for the holidays.
Make sure to stop by the other blogs for more great mommy and me holiday styles!
ADA of Elegance and Mommyhood: "This was the day we took a million pictures. If you have a very active toddler you understand. Vivian and I still managed to dress up in red and white and take some cute Holiday snapshots among the huge bunch. From myself, my daughter Vivian and her favorite doll we wish you Happy Holidays and a very Merry Christmas!"
BROOKE of Pumps and Pushups: "Celebrating the holidays with these two is so very sweet. I love making the season magical for them and living through their excitement."
RACHEL of Threads for Thomas: "During the holidays, my family tends to keep our gatherings on the casual side. However, I still want us all to look put together, so a nice sweater is usually the solution. I love dressing the twins in coordinating sweaters, and for me, a sweater dress is the perfect option."
ERICA of Pumps and Pushups: "This Christmas is extra special as it is the first one my husband, family and I will be celebrating with our brand new bundle of joy. Christmas has always been a favorite time of year for me and I am so excited to now have a little one of my own to share in the magic of the season!"
AMY of the Gifted Gabber: "Our after-church photo shoot resulted in a little impromptu porch decorating. My two little helpers had some unconventional decorating ideas, but we finally got things straight. My red plaid dress is a holiday favorite of mine from Old Navy. Little One's black plaid dress is also from Old Navy. Last Christmas season, we bought Scooter Britches' shimmery plaid dress one size up from Target and she has been able to enjoy it for one more holiday season."
SHEA of Shea Lennon: "I'm looking forward to a relaxing Christmas spent with family. Jona and I are ready to eat delicious food and open lots of presents in our comfy jeans and red plaid. Merry Christmas!"
I found this dress on major sale for $37! Although I only bought it last week, it is no longer available online. I'm sure you can find it in store, but I've also linked some similar options below.

Oh my goodness your boys are absolutely precious! Their little facial expressions are too cute. I love that dress, the look of the layers but the feel of just one dress makes it seem so comfy! Great find! I hope you have a merry Christmas!!
ReplyDeleteRachel (with Taylor and Mason) thank you to the three of you for being part of my Mommy+Kid Christmas Collaboration. It was so much fun and all three of you look adorable. I love their cute little sweaters. That last photo of the three of you is my favorite. So previous, it must be framed. I also love the sweater dress and how it is layered with a shirt underneath. I want to buy it NOW!

I believe you when you say how hard it was to get the photos done..I took my sister's 3 kids to get their pictures with Santa (she is a single mother who needed the time to do her christmas shopping on a day she didn't work) and it took almost 15 minutes (and some awful glares from others in the lineup) to get the proper pictures taken
ReplyDeletethat type of dress with a high boot is my fave look for winter. you have great legs btw
