Did everyone have a wonderful Memorial Day? I was up at the lake all weekend and had the BEST time with friends and family. Although Saturday was the only day we saw the sun, it didn't stop us from having fun outside and enjoying the lake. In fact, I had every intention of posting this look yesterday, but last minute decided it was the perfect time to unplug, be in the present, and give my loved ones my full attention. I have to admit, it was a wonderful break as blogging and social media can get a tad overwhelming at times. I wore this dress over the weekend, as nothing welcomes summer more than chambray mixed with an off the shoulder cut! You may remember when I last wore it with jeans here. Because this dress falls a tad on the short side, I paired it with flat sandals for a casual summer look. However, I think this dress will make a great beach cover up, and have a feeling I'll be wearing it with my bathing suit all summer. This chambray dress is from Forever 21 and no longer available, but I linked some great chambray off the shoulder options below. I'm loving this very similar one from Rebecca Minkoff, and obsessed with the tie detail on this Old Navy dress. I wish everyone a great and productive week ahead!
Dress: Forever 21 (similar here and here)| Sandals: Old Navy| Bag: Chloé| Sunnies: Ily Couture| Choker: made from belt (similar here)| Necklace: Sarah Chloe | Bracelets: Vita Fede (here and here), David Yurman (here and here)| similar pearl ring here

That sounds like a great Memorial Weekend, and good for you for unplugging for a while. That can be hard to do but it's so necessary sometimes. I love how you styled that dress with those cute lace-up sandals!
