Stripe Midi Skirt + WW Link Up

Happy Memorial Day Weekend!  Does everyone have fun plans?  I'll be at the lake all weekend, and I can't wait as temps will be in the 80s.  Hello summer!  This is one of the outfits that I'm planning on wearing this weekend.  This stripe skirt is from Forever 21, and let me tell you, it looks and feels MUCH more expensive than $18!  I'm loving the classic feel of this skirt, and that it has a slight nautical vibe.  I kept my look simple by pairing it with my favorite white Monrow tank, and finished my look with a denim jacket and a pair of flatforms sandals.

I bought these Michael Kors sandals 10 years ago!  Does anyone remember when they were popular?  I got them right before a trip to Miami, and they definitely got their cost per wear at all the pool parties I attended.  Since that trip, they have been sitting in my closet.  With 70s vibes and flatforms back in style, I was excited to pull them out again, and had a lot of plans for them this summer.  Well, right after taking these photos, I tripped, and the strap on these sandals broke (inset crying emoji)!  I guess it's the perfect excuse to buy a new pair!
