Beach Days

Now that my sister has moved to a lake, I have been spending a lot more time at the beach.  This means that many of my weekends are spent in bathing suits and beach wear.  Come to think about it, I've already worn my bathing suit more this summer than I have in the previous two.  Not only is it important to me to have a great swimsuit, but the perfect coverup is equally significant.  As much I love throwing a sundress on over my swimsuit, sometimes I prefer separates while chasing the kids around, and these pom pom coral shorts are the perfect option for just that.  I love how they add a pop of color to my otherwise all black swim wardrobe, and the the pom pom detailing adds a fun touch.  These shorts are from a store called, All For Color, which carries a great selection of colorful clothing from tops to active and beachwear.  I'm also loving the accessories from All For Color, and I couldn't be more excited about these white jelly sandals.  Often the sand gets hot, and the beach can be a little rocky, so wearing shoes is a must.  These jelly sandals have been perfect for chasing the twins around at the beach, not to mention that they are super cute, and a great option for everyday too.  They also come in coral, navy, and teal and are only $18!

These shorts are cute enough where all I have to do is add a button down shirt and great bag, and I feel ready to go from the beach to lunch with the girls! What are your go-to pieces for the beach?
