Oh my goodness, you all are probably going to laugh at me, but I am wearing this red ruffle dress the WRONG way! There are actually two slits in the ruffle that you're suppose to put your arms through, making this dress a cold shoulder cut (see here), but I totally forgot to wear the sleeves when shooting these photos (which I'm blaming on the fact that I was sick all weekend)! If you know my style, you know it was the cold shoulder cut that drew me to this dress in the first place, so I'm laughing at the fact that I didn't completely put it on the right way. I didn't realize my mistake until I was done editing these photos, and was about to delete them, when I realized that I really liked how this dress looked styled without the sleeves. I don't have to wear it the way it's shown on the model, and if I feel good in it, that's all that matters. That's the thing I love about fashion, there is no right or wrong, it's all about having fun and styling items to work for your personal preferences. Because I love the dress worn this way, it's like having two dresses in one, and I can't wait to restyle it with the sleeves soon!
Now, red is not normally a color that I gravitate to, but when I saw this dress I had to have it, and am thinking every woman should have a red dress in her closet. There is something that is simply sexy about a red dress, which not only makes it perfect for a date night, but also a fun option for a wedding, drinks with the girls, or a holiday party. I have a feeling that I'll be wearing this dress for many occasions. I paired it with my black fringe heels and clutch for a dressed up look, and finished my outfit with gold jewelry. My earrings and bracelets are from Color by Amber, a jewelry line that is Eco friendly, and empowers women though work at home jobs and giving programs. Their pieces are not only beautiful, but I love that by wearing their jewelry I'm doing good for the world.

I would have NEVER known that you were wearing this the wrong way unless you said that. I just thought it was a ruffle decal thing, lol. But either way, it looks amazing and you rocked it!
