Although the past few days have been freezing here in New England, I still can't get all thoughts of spring off my mind, especially when it comes to my wardrobe. I've been daydreaming about wearing little sundresses and sandals, and have been nonstop shopping (okay, browsing) for the perfect spring pieces. Today I am sharing two items that I believe every woman should have in her spring closet, which are a floral dress and a denim jacket, and sharing my picks for each.
There is nothing that screams spring more than a floral print, especially in the form of a dress. I love how the print is ultra feminine, and can soften up any look. Floral dresses are not only perfect for throwing on a during a warm spring day, but they make great options for all the spring/summer events (weddings, bridal showers, baby showers) everyone has coming up. This dress was in my most recent Stitch Fix shipment, and I love the classic cut. It can easily dress up with the right heels and jewelry for a formal event, or look great with a denim jacket and flats for an everyday look. Speaking of, a denim jacket is another spring staple every woman should have in her closet. Not only does a denim jacket make the perfect match with all the floral dresses, but it adds the perfect amount of warmth on a spring day. Below are the floral dresses and denim jackets that are currently on my wish list. What is your favorite?
Also, I'll be reviewing the rest of my Stitch Fix shipment on the blog later this week. Make sure to stop back and see which items I ended up keeping. I hope everyone has a great week.

Very nice! I love this blog post!
ReplyDeleteThat is such a pretty dress! I love the soft pleats in it.
ReplyDeleteI know this is not your usual style but it is such a pretty dress. I love the red+pink floral pattern so much and I am a huge fan of a fit+flare dress - so classic. Great styling with the denim jacket and those gorgeous blush pumps. I hope you ended up keeping this, Rachael.
ReplyDeleteAlso I need a medium-wash blue denim jacket and I will take each dress from your wish-list lol.
Very nice and great with a denim jacket!
ReplyDeleteThis is a beautiful dress and I love how you can dress it down just a tad by throwing a denim jacket over it. I find myself grabbing for my denim jacket often throughout the spring/summer season. I do hope we get some spring weather soon around these parts but it's not looking too promising.
