TGIF! I'm so excited for this weekend because I am currently on my way to New York City. It's been forever since I had last visited, and I can't wait to breath in the city air, and absorb all it's energy. In addition to being in one of my favorite cities, my husband and I will be enjoying a kid-free weekend. I don't think we've been without the twins in almost two years, so it's long overdue. Although I'll miss the boys, time alone with my love and best friend will be amazing.
Today I'm sharing a dress that would be perfect for a Mother's Day brunch, or a weekend in Nantucket. This sailboat print dress was included in my most recent Stitch Fix
box, and I'm loving the print for summer. I paired it with a navy satchel bag, also included in my Stitch Fix shipment, and finished my look with wedge espadrilles.

Although I think that this dress is adorable, it's a little preppier than I typically like, so I ended up sending it back. This was actually the first fix that I didn't fully love, and ended up sending everything back. However, because I've had such luck with all of my other fixes, I can't wait for my next one! ReplyDeleteHave so much fun in NYC! You and your husband deserve this time away. As I read your words about missing the twins it brought back memories of me leaving the girls for the first time. I had so much anxiety that I almost didn't want to go but then I saw a toddler have a meltdown at the airport and the realization of, "I don't have to deal with that" hit me and it was so elevating. LOL.
