Polka Dot Blazer

I have an obsession with blazers.  They are the one item that I can't stop buying (in addition to off-the-shoulder tops), and I believe that every woman should have multiple in her wardrobe.  Not only are they timeless, but I love how they can instantly polish any look, and add a touch of sophistication.  When I first laid eyes on this polka dot blazer, I immediately fell in love.  Between the open cut, gathered sleeves, and polka dot print, I knew I found my ideal fall blazer.  Not only does it dress up jeans and a tee shirt, but it will look great thrown over a little black dress or jumpsuit, while providing just the right amount of warmth.  And can we talk about the polka dots?  The print is huge this fall, and I love it in the form of a blazer.  I can basically throw it on over anything, adding the trendy, yet very classic, print to all of my outfits.

I decided to go for an effortless, every day look by pairing my blazer with jeans and a camisole. By adding the blazer, along with a pair of heeled booties, my look was instantly polished, and I could of easily gone out for drinks with the girls.  Although a pair of heeled sandals, or even pumps, would of been more suitable for the 80 degree weather we've been having in Boston this week, I couldn't help but to finish my look with these Steve Madden booties.  I have been dying to wear them ever since I got them, and love the bit of edge they added to my look.  I purchased them during the Nordstrom sale, but you guys, they're currently on sale now for less than what I paid!  I highly recommend these boots.  Not only does the block heel make them comfortable (for a heeled boot), but they truly look great with everything from jeans to dresses.  They also come in black!

I hope everyone has a great weekend.  We have a birthday party to attend on Sunday at the zoo, and I can't wait as the twins have ever been.  They're going to love it.
