Did everyone have a great start to 2018? Who got back into a normal routine? We're pretty much still in vacation mode in our household. Between Mike working from home this week, the big snowstorm that we were hit with yesterday, and the fact that we are currently on our way up to Vermont to have our Chrismukkah celebration, we haven't been able to get ourselves back into the swing of things. I do have to admit that I'm looking forward to starting a healthy routine next week.
If you're looking to freshen up your wardrobe this January, then I highly suggest adding a tweed blazer into the mix. Not only are tweed blazers classic, but they give off a cool-girl vibe, making them a perfect update to any look. Plus, most tweed blazers are warm, which is ideal for the winter weather. I just added this double breasted one to my wardrobe, and can't stop wearing it. It's classic, fun, and I love how it instantly makes my outfit look polished.
Although this blazer would work perfectly for an office environment, I decided to give it a casual feel by pairing it with my favorite ripped jeans and sneakers. Because it's been freezing here in New England, I layered it over a cream sweater, then finished my outfit with my everyday gold necklaces. I'd say its the perfect laid back, but you mean business, look.
Blazer: c/o Shein| Sweater: Chicwish| Jeans: Levi's| Sneakers: Stan Smith| Bag: Tory Burch| Sunnies: Quay| Necklaces: Sarah Chloe, Gorjana

Happy new year! Hope that this first week of 2018 is going well for you! We've been enjoying the warmer weather with some pool time, as it has been a particularly humid summer so far the pool has been a good idea. It's been a relaxing start to 2018! :)
